A few useful things to know before your stay at Simroseate.

Our Villas

Simroseate is home to just four private villas in a peaceful, green setting between Agonda and Cola in South Goa. The property is surrounded by tropical greenery with views towards the surrounding hills.
Our villas are arranged over two levels. The lower level is the main living and dining space and opens onto your private pool. Upstairs you will find the bedroom area, bathroom, jacuzzi room and balcony.
Coconut Villas are one-bedroom villas accommodating up to 5 guests. In addition to the king-size bed, the bedroom area includes a sofa bed and Murphy bed.
Cashewnut Villas are larger two-bedroom villas accommodating up to 7 guests, with two king-size beds as well as a sofa bed and Murphy bed.

Location

Simroseate sits between Agonda and Cola, surrounded by greenery and hills and away from the activity of the beachfront.
This is very much part of the Simroseate experience: more space, privacy and quiet, while still being close enough to Agonda to easily enjoy the beach, restaurants and village whenever you feel like it.
Agonda Beach is around a 7-minute drive away.

Restaurant & Breakfast

Simroseate has its own restaurant on site, serving food and drinks throughout the day.
Complimentary breakfast is included once per day, at whatever time suits your holiday rhythm. Enjoy it in your villa, at our restaurant, or as a floating breakfast in your private pool.
We prepare each breakfast freshly and encourage thoughtful ordering to help us minimise food waste.

Private Pools & Jacuzzis

Every villa has its own private swimming pool and jacuzzi, exclusively for guests staying in that villa.
The pool area also has its own shower and toilet. At the Coconut Villas these are open-air, while the Cashewnut Villas have an enclosed shower and toilet on the ground floor by the pool.
Our private pools are not heated — in Goa’s tropical climate, they are enjoyed at their natural temperature.
Children must be supervised around the pool at all times. For safety reasons, please avoid glassware around the pool area.

Experiences

Staying at Simroseate is also an opportunity to discover a quieter side of South Goa.
We can help guests explore places and experiences that we genuinely enjoy ourselves — from waterfalls, spice farms, historic homes and temples to kayaking, lesser-known beaches and the landscapes around Netravali. Private yoga classes and massages can also be arranged.
Closer to home, we offer a small collection of slower experiences connected to everyday life around Simroseate, such as a morning walk through Vagon village, spending time at a nearby animal shelter, sharing a simple breakfast with our team, or a private sound and rest session.
Experiences vary according to availability, season and weather. Our team will be happy to tell you what is possible during your stay.

Special Occasions

Celebrating a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon or another special occasion during your stay? Let us know in advance.
Our team will be happy to help arrange something special in your villa, from flowers and a cake to a private dinner or other personal touches. Just speak with us about what you have in mind.

Getting Around

We provide a complimentary daily shuttle to our beachfront property in Agonda, approximately a 7-minute drive from Simroseate. From there, you can enjoy Agonda Beach and explore the village on foot.
For other journeys, our team can help arrange local taxis and scooter rentals, as well as transfers to or from Dabolim Airport (GOI), Manohar International Airport (GOX) and Madgaon Railway Station.

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

Children

Children aged 6 and under stay free when using the villa’s existing bedding. Guests aged 7 and above are charged as adults.
Our private pools make Simroseate particularly enjoyable for families, but children must be supervised around the pool and jacuzzi at all times.

Parking

Complimentary parking is available for guests at Simroseate.
Nature
Being surrounded by tropical greenery is part of life at Simroseate. Birds, butterflies, geckos, frogs and other small visitors are all part of the natural environment around us.

Housekeeping

Daily housekeeping is available during your stay. Please speak with our team if you have a preferred time or any particular requirements.

Laundry

Laundry service is available for an additional charge. Please contact our team for current rates.

Mobile Connection & Wi-Fi

Mobile network coverage can sometimes be limited — one of the small trade-offs of being tucked away among the hills and greenery.
For those who do need to stay connected, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Drinking Water

Drinking water is provided in your villa throughout your stay.

Pets

Pets are welcome at Simroseate, subject to our pet policy and applicable charges. Please contact us before booking if you are travelling with a pet.
